Automático
O telemóvel inicia e termina o turno sozinho, ao entrares ou saíres da zona de trabalho.
This guide is available in Spanish, Romanian and English.
Your phone starts and ends your shift automatically when you enter or leave your workplace area. In the app: «My phone starts and stops my shift automatically when I arrive at work».
- Ideal if you always work at the same place or at a few fixed places (up to 5).
- Ideal if you forget to clock in or out.
- Ideal if you want your actual arrival and departure times without opening the app.
- Not ideal if you work at different places every day (use Timer).
- Not ideal if you do not want to grant Always location permission (use Timer or Manual).
Under the hood, Automatic mode is Timer mode with location detection enabled; that is why some screens say Automatic mode only works in Timer mode.
| Requirement | Required? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Account | No | Works without an account. An account is only needed for cloud backup and to connect to a company. |
| Always location | Yes | Without it, shifts are only detected while the app is open. |
| Precise / exact location | Yes | The app needs it to recognize the place. |
| Notifications | Recommended | It works without them, but you will not be notified when your shift starts or ends. |
| Internet | Not for detection | Detection works without internet. Internet is needed to send records to your company and for cloud backup. |
| Google Play Services (Android) | Yes | Without them, it only works while the app is open. |
When enabling the mode: Settings → Work → Clocking mode → Automatic. TimeCash shows this message; choose Continue.
